Visit to the library

We have been reading WANTED! Ralfy Rabbit, Book Burglar as part of our Scottish Book Awards.  We thought that we would go a visit to the library just as Ralfy does in the book.  We had a great time at the library with Sally.  She gave us a tour, read us a story, taught us some songs then found favourite books for us!  Thank you Sally for a brilliant time.  Also a big thank you to Sandra, William, Gemma, Esther and Helen for coming along with us.  We hope you had fun too.

After all of our lovely singing, we found our favourite books and spent time reading them on our own, with our friends and with the grown ups.  We had a go at some of the activities on the drawing table too and some of us had fun playing in the funny seat.

Muddisdale for a walk

A few of the lunch bairns went on a senses walk to Muddisdale on Thursday morning. We saw and heard lots of things including birds, diggers, an aeroplane, the cathedral spire a long way in the distance and an ambulance siren. There were lots of trees and leaves and bushes to explore in. It was great fun we enjoyed our little trip out.
