Getting busy outdoors...

We have had a busy day outside today!  Thanks to everyone who came along to help.  We have been sprucing up lots of different areas outside and have some ideas for some new developments.

A visitor in nursery...

Last week we had a visit from Claire on behalf of the NHS Orkney dental service.  She spoke with the children about brushing their teeth and nursery and home and gave them some key messages:

1.     Brush your teeth in circles

2.    Get an adult to help you

3.    Only use a small drop of toothpaste

4.    Brush the tickly bits at the back too!

5.    Brushing the toothpaste all around your mouth leaves fluoride that helps keep your teeth healthy.

We had great fun practising our brushing skills on Claire’s furry friends!

 

 

 

 

 

Welcome!

Welcome to our blog!  As always, the first few weeks of term have been very busy.  We have been settling all the new children in and getting used to the daily routines of the nursery – lunch, snack, tooth brushing etc.
