Preschool Banquet

The preschool children have been busy roleplaying weddings and parties this term and decided that they wanted to host their own banquet to mark them finishing in the nursery.  They have been making invites, planning games and music as well as the menu for the day.  As today was their last day as a whole group together, we thought this would be the best day for the banquet. We had a lot of fun playing different party games such as musical chairs, corners and musical bumps then sat down to a lovely feast of watermelon, strawberries, apples, pizza, crisps and cake!  What a lovely way to mark the end of term.  Don't we look smart in our fancy clothes!

Sports Day

What fun we had on our sports day last week.  Here are a few snapshots of what we were up to.
We had the obstacle course where we were crawling through the tunnel, running in and out of cones, jumping over the hurdle then passing the hoop over our heads.  Most importantly, we were cheering hard for our friends!

Our favourite bit seemed to be all the races we planned: Bean bag, running, tattie and spoon, sack and wellie boots to name a few!!
We played some games and sung some songs.
Finally, we finished the session with the parent race!  Have a guess - who was most competitive - the parents or the children?!!

Fun at the Fair - Saturday 6th June

We had lots of fun at the School Fair this Saturday. We sold lots of our Sensory Jars and helped raise money for the school funds. Well Done to all who helped collect jars, the children for helping fill them and all those who came along.
