Scotland Topic
We have been learning about our Scotland Topic the same as all the other boys and girls in the school. We have read lots of Scottish Stories - some of us took in Scottish books from home and Ava's Granny came into read us the Orkney Gruffalo. We have been learning some Scottish songs like "Ye canni shove your granny aff a bus!" and "Ally Bally Bee". Some of us had a try of Scottish dancing in the hall and we decorated shortbread biscuits with icing thistles! The arts and crafts table has been busy too with making thistles, flags and painting our own tartan. Come in and have a look at our beautiful artwork on display on the walls.
What else have we been up to in January?
We have some very keen builders in the nursery at the moment...
We also have some bird watchers!
